At midday she was called to attend her graduation ceremony at the stadium.
She changed into a robe with a red, white and gold sash, black pumps and white socks ..
She emerged from the doors with a new trait: Genius, like Wilfred.
She kissed her degree and cradled it like a baby.
Then gave a kiss to thank The World.
And zoomed on back to the dorm to tie up anything she forgot, on her magic swan, trailing laser beams behind her.
Nine o’clock struck and it was time to go home. She carried her suitcase past the social group board, sparkling with dares, which she didn’t need to look at because she got to the top of the Jocks like Wilfred, and chose Family Oriented.
“Gabuy!” waved Rebecca and the roommates.
