“You have to get the treasure in that chest for the adventure” Theodora instructed firmly.
“Oh .. ooh” Wilfred worried.
Theodora thought it too tempting to not make a dash for the moneybag! The mummy turned and went after her!
“Come on!” Wilfred kept stamping on the footplate, “Theodora!” he begged.
“Whah!” she wailed as she ran back through the hole just in time.
“Arf” grunted the mummy, turning back away.
“Arf!” barked the red mummy, heading to the hole.
“Oh no you don’t, that’s my husband!” Theodora warned, pushing the statue back to close it, “Try the other one Wilfred!” she suggested.
Wilfred grabbed the other statue, “Keep on that footplate, it controls the fire” he told her.
“I don’t think it does anything else now you’ve set it” she relayed, trying it again.
Wilfred made a dash for the other moneybag. “Wilfred, the chest!” Theodora implored him.
“I can’t help myself Darling!” he whimpered.
“Arf” a mummy started toward him.
Wilfred took the moneybag and ran back to the safe area. “Arf” said the mummy, trying to follow him.
Wilfred pushed the statue back to close the hole. “Arrrf”
The mummy glared right at Theodora, only the half wall between them.
“You leave her alone!” Wilfred warned him.
