He thought he’d better get on with the other business .. of finding a beautiful wife to start on that legacy. Watching TV by himself in his new ground floor living room was lonely.
One of the houses he’d rummaged through the garbage of for some newsflash story material, had a pretty teenage girl named Penelope Pepper, who was soon due to have her growing up birthday.
After writing a negative story about her, she was in his phonebook, and so he was able to call her and build a friendship, from negative because she didn’t like the story. With his great charisma he worked on in college, it didn’t take long.
He got to know that her traits were:
- Flirty
- Frugal
- Light Sleeper
- Easily Impressed
- Artistic
Not too bad.
The game soon announced that Penelope had grown up. Wilfred was sure to call her and ask her on a date. He invited her to the local restaurant.
When she arrived, she didn’t look like Wilfred had expected she would. She didn’t look like that when she was a teenager, not through the window anyway.
She sounded like a nice person on the phone, despite the dirt he found on her in her family’s garbage bin.
“These are for you” he smiled, whipping out a bunch of red roses. One of his winning moves he used at university.
“My name is Wilfred” he complained. “Sorry” she said, “That’s what I meant”
She changed into her formal to go into the restaurant, “Let’s get a good table” she ushered, as he changed into his formal too.
They went into the restaurant, awkwardly ..
