With Ursula

Wilfred hoped that she wasn’t filling Theodora’s mind with her experienced tall tales about him and his window looking.

“Theodora!” he greeted her excitedly, “Can you believe it’s Summer already? Well you can, because there’s not a cloud in the sky today is there?” he fumbled.

“And all the children are out to play when there’s so much reading to be done! Have you been writing some more stories?” she asked. In his paranoia he thought she might be hinting at his research from her garbage, and her window.

“I promise there was nothing untoward going on” he tried, “I was trying to clear things up, and re-write what they’ve been saying because it’s not true, I mean, you’re always so busy”

Whatever do you mean?” she asked, puzzled.

Phew!

“Just kidding” he winked and flashed her his irresistible smile.

“Aw but I wish you weren’t” she melted, “I so want to be in your stories, true or not, just to be in them. Don’t waste the garbage” she pleaded.

“But I thought” he uttered, puzzled.

“I want to be like that one, ‘Kissing Tiffany at the Show’. Did you get inspiration from real life for that one, or garbage?” she asked.

“What about: Rocking Theodora at the Library. Get it? Because you have to be quiet at the library” she suggested.

“Do you like Rock?” he asked.

“Not really” she replied.

“Well then, the library?” he asked.

“Of course, I’m a Bookworm. that part is true.” she told him, “And the movies, like Tiffany”

“Oh! Well then, would you like to go to the movies? With me?” He took his cue.

“Take my picture first!” she called, and struck a pose, “For the book!”

So he took her picture and led the way to the movies. She spun out of her Athletic outfit and followed.
