“Attention please, could you all form an orderly line, for this cake to celebrate with us” Theodora instructed, as Helen Moore, and her husband the only male guest Clifford arrived, Wilfred’s co-workers.

“In Roman times, the wedding cake was broken over my head to bring good fortune” Theodora recited as she cut the first slice carefully as to miss the top tier and cut all the way to the bottom.

Wilfred thought about that, and her Great Party thought bubble. He hoped it didn’t mean she was about to run home at the first chance. This is her new home.

Sera got angry. Not only is she waiting forever for her turn at the cake, but Helen’s parasol is broken!

“Cough!” Theodora tried not to splutter her cake as she gawked all around her, “I had no idea the house would be this .. “ Wilfred waited .. “Patterned” she tried.

Wilfred didn’t mind, “I thought it might be too much” he reasoned, as he started on his cake.

“No, somehow it goes, I like it” she assured him.

“You remember the style back home, in those days Clifford?” Wilfred asked across the table as everyone joined them.

“Well not really, my memories started again when Helen and I got here” Clifford replied, “But however it was, this is better. I only wish we could jazz up our house, but we’ll have to keep hoping the town editor will see fit”

“This room is kinda nice .. “ Theodora tried, as she helped put some dishes away.

“We have to leave some parts for the future or it will get boring” Wilfred informed her.

“But this wall is bare!” Rosalind exclaimed, staring at it.

“That’s where he’s extending it later” Cecilia complained.

“I personally can’t stand art, this llama is not OK!” Helen protested.

Rosalind fainted, “I can’t take this!” she gasped.

“Oh!” Pearl gasped too.

“I want to sit in your chair Helen” Sera complained, staring at the blank wall.

“I wish that too” Helen agreed, trying to eat her cake while confronted by all the art.
