His novels still weren’t paying more than 1.5K, so he decided he’d spend the last night of his stint researching romance ..
With Tiffany Rich, a level 10 Jock. He asked her on a date to the theatre.
“Tiffany, these are for you” he offered her some precious pink flowers. He bought a stock of them on sale at the grocery store, and keeps them in his inventory to give out for free on such occasions, otherwise they are $40 a pop.
“Oh! Wilfred, they’re so beautiful!” she gasped, surprised. “My invisible mother told me I should” he told her. “Aw thank you!” she smiled.
“Shall we go in? It’s starting” he said. “Yes let’s” she agreed.
They went in to see the show, and popped back out and in a lot, unco-ordinated, but eventually saw it through.
It all made Wilfred very tired, he did have a long day with an early exam.
But Tiffany was waiting for more apparently.
He quietly stepped in close to her.
“Thank you so much for accepting my invitation” he told her, “I’ve had a really nice time, you’re a lovely girl, Tiffany”.
“Yes?” she asked, fishing for even more. Wilfred was wary of getting too close, he doesn’t want to get too tied to anyone here, it’s a lot of mucking around to pursue. But Wilfred was pretty sure nothing gets set until someone confesses their attraction, and he does want to get his research.
So Wilfred gently took her elbow, and leaned in closer.
He kissed her sweetly, with his first kiss. Romantic music played.
But Wilfred is a Great Kisser.
His kiss made a heart for both he and Tiffany in his relationship panel. That was when the game told him Tiffany has a boyfriend, Brendan Kavanaugh, the one that’s been hovering around the whole time. Luckily not right then.
Debbie Richards burst out of the theatre and made them both jump apart. Brendan was coming out too.
“Hmm? What?” Tiffany spun around and asked dizzily, by hunger or love, or hunger for love. “I think I must bid you goodbye now Tiffany” Wilfred suggested.
“Yes?” she asked nobody, seeming to ignore him. So Wilfred left, ending the date.

Just when he was nearly finished his new novel, “Kissing Tiffany at the Show” his laptop broke. He’s upgraded it to improved graphics to increase it’s fun, rather than be unbreakable. Being Handy, and with maxed Handiness, it doesn’t take him long to fix it.
Right when he’d finished the novel, a hit paying $2,851, his third stint results came in.
An A in everything so far.
With half another novel, “Not Just Friends” done and his suitcase packed, he headed out to meet the helicopter meat truck.
Tiffany was calling him, and his roommates were coming out to say goodbye but he thought it best to skedaddle.
