The meat truck picked him up, flew over the campus, told him about “Oh the memories!” and then dropped him off at the Sunlit Tides entry spot..
The Cemetery
Then it picked him up again and drove him to his house.. well his lot.

This is as best I could piece together an aerial view of half of Sunlit Tides
The arrow at the bottom is pointing to the Cemetery, and the arrow at the top is pointing to Wilfred’s lot. The main road leading from one to the other has the newspaper business, theatre, restaurant, bookshop and science facility along it, about halfway. The 64×64 lots are even further away, and have boring letterboxes.

The meat truck dropped him off at his lot at the same time as another car, which was either the paper boy or the mascot. Can’t remember the mascot’s name. “I hope I’ve got some points for a scholarship” thought Wilfred.
“Pter, there’s nothing here!” thought the mascot.
“Ooh, I think I’d like to date him” she rethought, as he arrived next to her and took the questionnaire clipboard from the tin.
She waited patiently for him to chat to her, maybe flirt with her, as he scribbled, dotted and ticked.
“Mm-hm, uh-huh” he muttered, “errr”
“Yes?” she asked.
But cheery old music played and the game announced Wilfred had some points in the test – in Science and in Technology, from his Gardening and Handiness. Not enough in Communications, but it’s all points and he got a partial scholarship.

“Good morning to you Sir!” Wilfred chirped, “I’d like to re-enrol in Communications!”. “Keep the change Wilfred” the call centre told him. “Why thank you Sir!”
I saw the magpies flying by, they sent a message in the sky
One for luck, two for joy
Three for a letter, four for a toy
Five for silver, six for gold
And seven for a secret never to be told.
“Silver? Hoh! Chrome plating!” Wilfred exclaimed.

When the helicopter lowered Wilfred down onto the dorm front path, it was snowing. He thought about how he could trap it into his laptop’s cooling system, because he’s a Genius. His new roommates hadn’t come yet.
He went straight to the library anyway. As soon as he sat down to read the new textbook, the roommates arrived. One of them said she fancied him through the thought network. “You all make us jump if we marry you” he told her.
The chance for a Handiness achievement presented it’self right there in the library – a broken faucet in the mens’.
Wilfred climbed into it so confidently, he fixed it with his hands behind his back. If he fixes 10 plumbing items, any plumbing item fixed after that will never break again. That is one of the extra skill challenges in the game. So far he’s unclogged a few toilets in the dorm and fixed one of the showers. This’ll be number 5.

Before bedtime got too late, he made Autumn salad in advance for the week, and some extra for the roommates to steal. The admiring roomie, Rebecca Lynn made sure to float by him. We’ve looked at her before. She’s got a nice face, but her eye colour is weird, and she is a Rebel. Wilfred wants Jocks. I seem to remember my past sims in Communications, gaining Jock influence every time they used the class object, so we may as well go with that flow.
“But I’m swishing past you with my long dirty cardigan” she complained.
