Generation 1 Get Old

Helen and Dardanus extended out the yard side of the living area in an octagonal shape, big enough for the disco floor and lights, a cake table, and a Foosball table, purple, and with a few floor-to-ceiling windows to show off the flourishing backyard. Homer was missing, because he was at boarding school.

It was easier to gather guests by “calling over to dance” each of them as they arrived. Some of the guests were: Sam Sekemoto, Ethan Bunch – could be Dustin Langerak, Mortimer Goth, Molly French as an elder, Jarred Frio, River McIrish, Emma Hatch, Gobias Koffi, Christopher Steel, Terrence Alto, born to them soon after the start of the game, but Vita was not already pregnant, and Holly Alto in an unfortunate Into the Future formal, which she seemed to think so.

That was Ethan Bunch after all, as he did wear that formal on a later occasion and changed into a Culinary career uniform, which Dustin would not do as he was in Military.

Terrence Alto looks a lot like Vita.

Gobias Koffi didn’t approve of Holly’s ‘formal’. Perhaps it was swimwear. My sims’ growing up parties usually have a dress code of formal so that the random growing up outfit of the birthday sim isn’t too bad. Random everyday outfits seem to be worse. Sims like to “boo” or they get angry about other sims who turn up to parties in the wrong outfit. So Holly’s must’ve been something else. Her brother seemed embarrassed.

When enough of the guests had gathered, it was time … Helen and Dardanus made a wish at each of their birthday cakes.

If the game is paused, and each of the birthday sims click on the cake to grow up, and get the action queue to do so, they will both do their cakes at the same time, however they will go back and eat the others’ cake after already eating a slice of their own, as will all of the guests.

Dardanus blew his candles out first by a couple of seconds.

They looked at each other and waited.

Helen started to sparkle and wobble. “I’m first” she insisted.

She turned around with some creaks and groans while their friends cheered …

She grew up into an elder and some unfortunate skimpy shorts.

As she grabbed the first piece of her cake, Dardanus’ sparkles started. They tickled.

Then something popped.

“What was that?” Dardanus gasped, as his back creaked, pulling him to turn … the pop was just a party clacker though.

Dardanus grew into an elder, and he was ok. Boyd Wainwright was glad for his colleague making it into the club. And Holly had changed into something else.

We checked out Emma Hatch, who was still single with no children and only had a limited time left to help her with that.

With two cakes queued up most of the guests do have some. And then they go home. All of Dardanus and Helen’s guests had something nice to say as they left.

Especially with time going by faster on the laptop, not even asking Gobias to join a game of Foosball before he finished his cake beat the urge to go home after eating. He did chat to him though and improved their relationship even though they were doing different things.

After cleaning up, Dardanus and Helen enjoyed their hot pink bedroom which should’ve been purple. Dardanus dyed his hair back to black, but Helen accepted her greys. Not the wrinkles though. She was sure to have a good supply of night cream. The potent green sort.

They bought a new matching wardrobe, but were disappointed it didn’t have the extra Woohoo feature as they used to in The Sims 2.
